Volumes contracted on lot 1 with a volume of 243 MW for the year 2023.
The call for tenders for year 2023 had two lots:
- Lot 1, reserved for sites with a contract power less than or equal to 1 MVA (low voltage) and 1 MW (HVA).
For this lot, the remuneration of selected capacities is done through a contract for difference with the remuneration of the capacity mechanis - Lot 2, reserved for sites with a contract power greater than or equal to 1 MVA (low voltage) and 1 MW (HVA).
For this lot, the remuneration of the selected capacities is done through an additional remuneration with the remuneration of the capacity mechanism.
The final volume of demand response bids selected for 2023 was 2,702 MW (+12% compared to 2022) for a clearing price of 59.9 k€/MW.
The PREC for the year 2023 (reference price on the capacity mechanism and which constitutes the reference price for the contract for difference for lot 1 and the reference for the additional remuneration for lot 2) was established at the auction of 8 December 2022 at 60 k€/MW.
As the PREC is higher than the clearing price of the AOE 2023, the contract on lot 2 would not give rise to an additional remuneration. The volumes selected in lot 2 (subscribed power > 1 MW) were therefore not contracted. Indeed, in accordance with Article 6 of the demand response call for tenders specifications 2023, the candidates selected for lot 2 had the possibility not to conclude the contract in the case where the PREC is higher than the clearing price of the call for tenders.
Only the volumes selected in lot 1 (subscribed power ≤ 1 MW) were contracted.
For the first year, the sites in lot 1 could respond with offers with durations between 1 and 10 years.
The volume contracted per year is:
