Why create an account?
After creating an account you will :
- have access to the “favourites” feature,
- be able to download certain data published by RTE,
- have access to forms (PKI certificate, EIC code, Customer questionnaire - KYC),
- have access to notifications.

What does this accounting service option provide?
This accounting service option is offered to a generator customer or a consumer customer connected to the transmission system and which holds a feed in tariff contract for part of the generation.
It is offered to sites whose generation benefits in part from a feed in tariff contract or an additional remuneration contract:
- one or some of the generation unit(s) are entitled to a feed in tariff contract or an additional remuneration contract, whereas the other generation unit(s) are not;
- and/or one or some of the generation unit(s) are entitled to a feed in tariff contract or an additional remuneration contract for only part of their generation based on the application of a ratio given in the feed in tariff contract or additional remuneration contract.
How do I subscribe?
The contracting steps are as follows
If a ratio applied to the generation of a unit in MW is mentioned in your feed in tariff (or additional remuneration) contract, you are required to send this to RTE, putting the mandatory purchaser in copy of your notification. Otherwise you need to ask RTE to install RTE meters to enable customisation of energy flows relating to the unit(s) benefiting from a feed in tariff (or additional remuneration) contract.
- enter into an Additional Services Contract with RTE to subscribe to the "accounting service: Option D, Accounting-selling of part of the generation under feed in tariff contract or additional remuneration contract” and choose the billing methods (cheque, wire transfer or direct debit).
- accept the CART update proposed by RTE, to take into account the new meters (or the ratio) in the site diagram and in the flow metering formula of your site.
- designate the mandatory purchaser’s balance responsible party for the generation unit(s) under feed in tariff contract or additional remuneration contract, providing an attachment agreement (Annex C7)in accordance with the MA-RE Terms and Conditions (Section 2).
- inform your site’s balance responsible party of the subscription to the metering service.
- designate a scheduling agent for the generation unit(s) under feed in tariff contract or additional remuneration contract, providing an attachment agreement (Annex 6) in accordance with the MA-RE Terms and Conditions (Section 1).
- if relevant, include the generation unit(s) in a balancing entity (BE) as part of the balancing mechanism.
Note: if you have several feed in tariff or additional remuneration contracts for your site’s Generation Units, you subscribe to as many services as required.
- Enter into an Additional Services Contract with RTE to subscribe to this accounting service option: “Accounting service: Option D, Accounting-selling of part of the generation under feed in tariff contract or additional remuneration contract”, and to subscribe to or modify the subscription to the “accounting service: Option C, accounting-selling” to separately assign the following energy flows to Balance Responsible Parties: the energy consumed by the consumption facility, the energy generated by the rest of the generation unit(s),and choose the invoicing methods (cheque, wire transfer or direct debit).
- accept the CART update proposed by RTE, to take into account the new meters (or the ratio) in the site diagram and in the flow metering formula of your site.
- designate the mandatory purchaser’s balance responsible party for the generation unit(s) under feed in tariff contract or additional remuneration contract, providing an attachment agreement (Annex C7) in accordance with the MA-RE Terms and Conditions (Section 2).
- inform your site’s balance responsible party of the subscription to the metering service.
- designate a scheduling agent for the generation unit(s) under feed in tariff contract or additional remuneration contract, providing an attachment agreement (Annex 6) in accordance with the MA-RE Terms and Conditions (Section 1).
- if relevant, include the generation unit(s) in a balancing entity (BE) as part of the balancing mechanism.
Conditions
To subscribe to this option:
- you must have a Generator or Consumer CART available in the Technical Reference Documentation.
- you must have a feed in tariff or additional remuneration contract for a part of the generation of the site.
The minimum duration of subscription for the service is one year.
If the service is terminated, RTE shall, at its cost, proceed with the removal of the metering equipment associated with the service previously subscribed to.
Service tariff or fee
The fees consist of:

a fee for management costs on subscription to the service 6720 Euros
-
a set annual management fee 720 Euros/year
-
if applicable, a fee for management costs related to the modification/reconfiguration of the service. This includes the balance responsible party change 2560 Euros per modification/reconfiguration
These fees are billed semi-annually.
In addition to this, metering fees are added where relevant, as provided for in the TURPE:
- Annual metering component HV-B per meter: see the fees in the brochure on the Understanding the public transmission system access tariff (TURPE) page.
- This rate is updated annually as of 1 August.
These fees are billed monthly and are included in the monthly invoice of the CART.
