Why create an account?
After creating an account you will :
- have access to the “favourites” feature,
- be able to download certain data published by RTE,
- have access to forms (PKI certificate, EIC code, Customer questionnaire - KYC),
- have access to notifications.
If you are an RTE customer, feel free to contact your administrator so that he or she can give you access to your company’s services.

- Market participants (any person, including transmission system operators, who enters into transactions, including the placing of orders to trade, in one or more wholesale energy markets);
- National regulators;
- Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).
What is the REMIT regulation?
The European Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 ("REMIT regulation") aims to ensure wholesale energy market integrity and transparency.
Article 4 of this regulation states that market participants shall publish disclose inside information they possess. Disclosure must be made in a manner that is public, effective and efficient. It must be done in a timely, simultaneous and complete manner.
ACER specifies the principle and requirements for effective disclosure of inside information in its Guidance on the application of REMIT. Inside information publishing platforms that meet these requirements are registered with ACER (see List of Inside Information Platforms).
RTE is currently in the registration phase with ACER.
Data concerned by REMIT
Insider information is published on the RTE Service Portal via the following data services:
- Unavailability of the transmission system / NTC impact
- Additional information on the transmission system
- Unavailability of power generation units
- Additional information concerning generation
In accordance with the REMIT regulation, this information is also made available via RSS feeds:
- Generation unavailability
- Unavailability of the transmission system / NTC impact
- Additional information on the transmission system and generation
These data are also available on the Data Portal - RTE's API catalogue.
Finally, RTE provides notification services :
- a notification service on the Service Portal allowing you to receive the following alerts by email:
- Unavailability of power generation units
- Network unavailability
- An "RTE Notifications" mobile app available on Google Play and App Store that allows you to receive these alerts as push notifications on your smartphone.
Obligations of market participants
Since 1 January 2021, companies must report their inside information according to the REMIT Regulation via an inside information platform of their choice, registered in the European Register of Market Participants.
