Confirmation of the go-live date on 22nd January 2025

RTE confirm the 15 minutes Market Time Unit (MTU) go-live date of 22nd January 2025, for delivery on 23 January 2025. 15 minutes products will be introduce on SIDC ; intraday continuous (XBID) and intraday auctions (IDAs); for the French Bidding Zone and the borders France – Belgium, France – Germany and France – Italy. 
15 minutes products will allow smaller trading increments for a more precise alignment of energy generation and consumption, which should reduce imbalances and strengthen grid reliability.
