Why create an account?
After creating an account you will :
- have access to the “favourites” feature,
- be able to download certain data published by RTE,
- have access to forms (PKI certificate, EIC code, Customer questionnaire - KYC),
- have access to notifications.
If you are an RTE customer, feel free to contact your administrator so that he or she can give you access to your company’s services.
Description of Service
The subscribe power exceedance notification service notifies you in near real-time by email and/or text message when your gross active power for a connection point reaches :
- a pre-notification threshold corresponding to a percentage of the contract power for the connection point (configurable by your Services Portal administrator)
- a notification threshold set at 100% of the contract power for the connection point
Notifications are sent for each exceedance and each connection point, with energy consumption measured in 10-minute periods, according to the delivery frequency configured and the user preferences.
Notifications are issued on the basis of raw metered data, as recorded on the reference meter. They are not confirmed at this stage, so are not ready for billing at the public electricity network tariff (TURPE). This data is therefore likely to generate unwarranted notifications.
General information
This service is only available if the metering points used in the formula for calculating extraction at the connection point (cf. Appendix 2 of the Transmission Network Access Contract) have been adapted to IP technology. Moreover, the service is currently not available for HTA and Emergency Connection Points.
The exceedance calculations take hourly/seasonal variations in the tariff and contractual power into consideration.
Peak hours (HPTE) threshold
Peak hours are from 9.00-11.00 am and 6.00-8.00 pm, December-February.
High season peak hours (HPSH) threshold
High season extends from November to March. High peak hours are from 7.00 am-11.00 pm, excluding peak hours.
High season low peak hours (HCSH) threshold
High season extends from November to March. Off-peak hours are from 11.00 pm-7.00 am, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Low season peak hours (HPSB) threshold
Low season extends from April to October, excluding peak hours.
Low season low peak hours (HCSB) threshold
Low season extends from April to October. Off-peak hours are from 11.00 pm-7.00 am, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Configuring the service
Your administrator can provide subsets of users from each of your companies with access to the service and can configure the service for each connection point from the "Administration" tab:
- Notification name
- Pre-notification threshold (percentage of contract power)
- Delivery frequency (at each exceedance or a maximum of once per day and per threshold).
View the "Nominating a primary administrator" page.
View the "Service administration" page.
Managing preferences
As a user, you may manage your preferences for your notifications relating to each connection point from the “My services” tab:
- Activation / Deactivation of notifications and pre-notifications
- Choice of notification delivery channels
- Selection of days and time slots for receiving notifications
General information
These preferences apply only to your user account.
The notification threshold is set automatically by RTE at 100% of the contract power for each connection point. The pre-notification threshold is configured by your administrator and cannot be changed by a user.
