Imbalance process
Data regarding week W (Saturday-Friday) are first calculated and published before 14:00 on Thursday of week W+2. The very same data regarding month M are updated and published before the end of months M+1, M+3, M+6 and M+12.
National reference load curve
This curve corresponds to net extraction in MW by the Public Distribution System on the Public Transmission System, calculated on the basis of metering data measured at HV/MV delivery point substations.
National Profiling Imbalance
This curve corresponds to the difference in MW between net extraction of Public Distribution System (PDS) on the Public Transmission System metered by RTE and aggregated Balance Responsible flows on PDS calculated by Grid Operators by the way of remote metering, profiling and estimating losses.
National alignment coefficient
This curve corresponds half-hour by half-hour points to the coefficient that corrects the consumption estimated by the Grid Operators on Public Distribution System for all Balance Responsible flows in order to adjust her to the real level.
Additional national alignment coefficient
This curve corresponds half-hour by half-hour points to the coefficient calculated by replacing missing PDS energy (data not received by RTE at the calculation date) by the energies of the previous week by applying a J-7 copy method. These values are not used to calculate differences and temporal reconciliation.
Distribution grid load curves aggregated at national level
These curves correspond half-hour by half-hour points in MW to the data provided by DSO and aggregated at national level:
- the estimated consumption load curve,
- the estimated generation load curve,
- the remotely-read consumption load curve,
- the remotely-read generation load curve,
- the estimated power loss load curve.
Temporal reconciliation
Data regarding the period from July of year Y to June of year Y+1 are published before the end of October of year Y+2.
National Profiling Imbalance
This curve corresponds to the difference between net extraction of Public Distribution System (PDS) on the Public Transmission System metered by RTE and aggregated Balance Responsible flows on PDS calculated by Grid Operators and RTE during temporal reconciliation.
National alignment coefficient
This curve corresponds half-hour by half-hour points to the coefficient that corrects the consumption estimated by the Grid Operators on Public Distribution System during temporal reconciliation for all Balance Responsible flows in order to adjust her to the real level.
National Residual load curve
During temporal reconciliation, there exists an imbalance half-hour by half-hour period, between the national reference load curve and the sum of the load curves allocated to the balance responsible entities within the Public Distribution System. This imbalance corresponds to the lack of precision with regard to the profiles.
This imbalance in MW, calculated over a period of a year, constitutes the load curve for the national residue. Its annual energy is nil by construction.
Records of the data are available from the start of the flow reconstitution process. National PDS load curves are available from the 15th April 2018.
Publishing regarding the Temporal Reconciliation from July 2021 to June 2022 (RT18)
- Updated on October 2023,
- Residual Financial Invoice is an invoice of € 35 727.64
- Definitive Estimated Consumption National Energy is 220 109.395 GWh.
